Thanks for joining me!
I am a seasoned development communications specialist with over a decade worth of experience conceptualizing and managing media content development processes. I have held executive level positions in the Eastern Cape NGO sector, working predominantly in the realm of advocacy for access to information and the realization of socio-economic rights.
I am the founder of Tweaks, an online writing, and editing service.
I am currently working on two projects;
Cookhouse Windfarm Community Trust Community Social Dialogues in the areas of Cookhouse, Adelaide, Somerset East and Adelaide
Toward a More Accountable South Africa. The goal of the project is to build an informed, unified and coordinated network of grassroots organisations focused on Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health (ASRHR), linked to an empowered movement of young people in the Eastern Cape who will partner with state actors to improve implementation of ASRHR policies and effectively participate in core accountability structures relating to them.
Qualifications: BA Media Communications and Culture (cum laude), MA Applied Media Studies
Note to self* I need to work on this page; talk about PhD 🙂
